About Pauline Tobin
As a 3rd generation funeral professional Pauline brings an impressive 26 years of experience to the industry. With 24 years as a qualified embalmer, she graduated as Dux of her class in 2002, earning a Certificate IV in Mortuary Science from the Australian College of Funeral Service.
Pauline is a graduate of the Fountain National Academy in Missouri, USA, where she completed postgraduate studies specialising in post-mortem reconstruction surgery. She currently serves as the Australian representative of the Fountain National Academy, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence in her field.
Throughout her career, Pauline has contributed significantly to the development of Australian embalmers, serving as a practical trainer with FIDA and mentoring many professionals across the country.
Pauline dedicated over 11 years to the Australian Institute of Embalming (AIE), holding the position of Director and serving as Chairwoman for more than six years. Her leadership has played a pivotal role in advancing standards and practices within the industry.
Known for her compassion and professionalism, Pauline is highly respected by her peers and the families she serves. Her attention to detail and dedication to upholding the dignity of the deceased have established her as a trusted figure in the funeral profession.
