SHIPPING POLICY
This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made from JATO Distribution Pty Ltd through our website. It sets out the basis upon which shipping charges are determined, the manner in which orders are processed and dispatched, and the respective responsibilities of JATO Distribution Pty Ltd and its customers in relation to delivery.
SHIPPING COST CONFIRMATION BEFORE DISPATCH
Upon placement of an order through our website, shipping charges may not be automatically calculated at checkout. Following receipt of the order, JATO Distribution Pty Ltd will determine the applicable shipping cost having regard to the size, weight, destination, and delivery requirements of the order. The customer will then be contacted and advised of the shipping charge for approval prior to dispatch. No order will be released for shipment until the applicable shipping charge has been approved by the customer.
ORDER PROCESSING
JATO Distribution Pty Ltd endeavours to process orders promptly upon receipt. Where the customer is an approved credit client, an invoice will be issued upon receipt of the order. In all other cases, orders will generally proceed to processing once payment has been received in full and the shipping charge has been approved. Processing times may vary according to product availability, order volumes, public holidays, and any handling or compliance requirements that may apply. Should an unforeseen delay arise, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify the customer as soon as practicable.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Delivery timeframes are indicative only and will vary depending on the destination, the shipping method selected, and the carrier engaged. Any delivery estimate provided by JATO Distribution Pty Ltd is given in good faith but does not constitute a guarantee of delivery by a particular date. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, peak trading periods, supply chain interruptions, or inaccurate delivery information.

SHIPPING METHODS
JATO Distribution Pty Ltd may utilise a range of carriers and delivery services according to the nature of the goods, the destination, and operational requirements. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, JATO Distribution Pty Ltd reserves the right to select the carrier and delivery method it considers most appropriate for the order.
TRACKING AND DELIVERY UPDATES
Where available, tracking information may be provided once the order has been dispatched. The availability and extent of tracking will depend on the carrier and service level applicable to the shipment.
CUSTOMER DELIVERY INFORMATION
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all delivery information supplied at the time of ordering is complete and accurate. JATO Distribution Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for delays, failed deliveries, or additional charges arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated delivery details provided by the customer.
LOST, DAMAGE, OR DELAYED SHIPMENTS
If goods are received in a damaged condition, are lost in transit, or are materially delayed, the customer should contact JATO Distribution Pty Ltd as soon as reasonably possible so that enquiries may be made with the relevant carrier. Any investigation, claim, or resolution process may be subject to the carrier’s procedures and timeframes.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE AND SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS
Certain deliveries may require a signature upon delivery, while others may be delivered in accordance with authority to leave instructions where permitted by the carrier or authorised by the customer. Once the goods have been delivered in accordance with the applicable delivery instructions or the carrier’s standard delivery procedures, responsibility for the goods may pass to the customer.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Where JATO Distribution Pty Ltd agrees to ship goods internationally, the customer may be responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such charges are separate from and additional to the shipping charges quoted by JATO Distribution Pty Ltd.
RETURNS POLICY
JATO Distribution Pty Ltd recognises and complies with the consumer guarantees applicable under the Australian Consumer Law. Where goods are faulty, unsafe, not of acceptable quality, not fit for their disclosed purpose, or do not match their description, customers may be entitled to an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law. Customers seeking to return goods should contact JATO Distribution Pty Ltd with reasonable details of the issue and proof of purchase so that the matter may be assessed. JATO Distribution Pty Ltd reserves the right to inspect or assess returned goods before determining the appropriate remedy where permitted by law.
REFUND POLICY
Where required by the Australian Consumer Law, JATO Distribution Pty Ltd will provide a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue and the remedy to which the customer is entitled at law. Where goods suffer a major failure, the customer may be entitled to choose between a refund or replacement. Where goods suffer a minor failure, JATO Distribution Pty Ltd may elect to repair or replace the goods within a reasonable time, where permitted by law. Returns sought on the basis of change of mind are not automatically accepted and will be considered solely at the discretion of JATO Distribution Pty Ltd, subject to any conditions notified to the customer. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
